J&B Homes Bay Area LLC (“J&B Homes,” “we,” “us”) is a licensed general contractor serving the East Bay and the I-80 corridor, CSLB #1127490. This policy explains what we collect through jbhomesbayarea.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you request an estimate, use a contact form, or start the online estimate tool, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, project address, and details about the work you are considering. We collect this so we can respond, schedule a walkthrough, and prepare a written estimate. We do not ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or financial account details through this website.
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use the site. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring source, and interactions such as clicking a phone number. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish one visit from another. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage.
This site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We do not control that request and we receive nothing from it.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.
We do not send marketing email to people who have only requested an estimate unless they ask to hear from us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with service providers who help us operate: our website host, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Those providers may only use the information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
If your project requires subcontractors, permits, or inspections, we share only what is necessary to do the work, such as the project address and scope.
Estimate requests and project correspondence are kept for as long as we have an active or prospective relationship with you, and afterwards for the period California law requires us to retain records relating to construction work. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
If you are a California resident, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also ask us to confirm that we have not sold or shared it, which we have not. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, call us or use our contact form, and tell us enough that we can locate your record.
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we limit who can reach your information to the people who need it to do the work.
This site is meant for adults arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
